While the US touts an 80.5% rating of those who have a high school education or above, Omaha tops out at 87.9%. Equally impressive are the results for those with a Bachelor’s degree or above coming in at 26.9% compared to the US estimate of 24.5%.

The strong public school districts cooperate with area private, parochial, faith-based and non-traditional schools. Serving over 45,000 students, the Omaha Public School District is the largest district in the state of Nebraska serving kindergarten through 12th-grade.
